Due to COVID-19, there will no processions or repasts.

Please join us to honor Our Lady of Mount Carmel on
Thursday, July 16th, 2020 at our noon Mass,
and at all the weekend Masses on July 18-19, 2020.
Let us give thanks to our Blessed Mother for her
blessings and constant protection.

The actual date is November 11, check calendars and bulletins for exact details.  Sometimes the day off is on a Monday, regardless of the actual date.

When Veterans’ Day falls on a weekday, M-S, the mass is at 9 am…

We pray for the sacrifices all our Veterans made (living and deceased)  to keep and protect our country!!!

please pray for our veterans both living and deceased. Today, there are many veterans who are homeless and many are committing suicide.

USA Today has this in its lede: “An estimated 22 veterans commit suicide in the United States every day.” The researchers found a total of 147,763 suicides in 21 states over the 13 years examined. Veterans were identified in 22 percent of those deaths.

Capuchin Farewell Mass & Party

Saturday, June 16, 2018, mass at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm

After serving Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Passaic for 96 years, it is with regret to announce that the Capuchin Franciscan Friars Province of the Sacred Stigmata of St. Francis will be leaving our parish on June 30, 2018. They started serving out parish on July 10, 1922, for 96 years!!!

We will be sponsoring a final farewell and goodbye to our brothers who have been serving us for almost a century!!

Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the 5 pm mass. A catered dinner in the church hall will follow

Roughly 13 Capuchin brothers have RSVP’d!!!! Some will be coming as far away as the retirement home in Beacon, NY..

$35.00 adults
$25.00 children 10 and under

Ticket Deadline: Sunday, June 10, 11:30 am after the mass.

Tickets are available after all masses and during office hours at the Friary, 10 St. Francis Way, Passaic…973-473-0246.
