There are still seats left on the Newark bus to the rally For Life in Trenton, NJ on Monday, January 23, 2017
The bus from Newark to the rally is hosted by the Respect Life Office of the Archdiocese of Newark. The bus is leaving from the Archdiocesan Center, 171 Clifton Ave., Newark, NJ 07104 at 9:00 AM. Cost is $10 per person. (Park in the lot on the Northwest corner of Park Avenue and Clifton Avenue in Newark.) Dress warmly and bring your lunch. New Jersey Right to Life is sponsoring the “Rally for Life” at the New Jersey
Statehouse steps.

(This year, people can go to both the Rally for Life in Trenton and the March for Life in Washington, DC.)

Come and rally in memory of the 59,000,000 babies who have been destroyed in the US since the infamous Roe Vs. Wade Supreme Court Decision in 1973.   You can show the New Jersey legislators that you want them to protect babies in the womb and in particular you want them to pass the “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act” (A3452/S2026).

20/20 Project Blue scarves will be available for a donation of $10 each at the rally and on most of the buses!  Let’s stand in solidarity for the babies and the effort to attain equal rights for them using an incremental approach!  The first Wildly Important Goal  (WIG) ~ the 20/20 Project ~ is to ban abortion past 20 weeks in NJ by the year 2020 by passing the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (A3452/S2026).

THURSDAY, JANUARY 19, 9:30 AM TO NOON !!!
LIFENET will be providing 20/20 Packets to the people on going to the Rally for Life and the March for Life.  We need volunteers on Thursday, January 19 from 9:30 AM to Noon to help us put the packets together at our office in Newark.  If you can help us, please email Bridget at [email protected] or call 973-497-4500.

Information on the Trenton Rally for Life, Monday, January 23, 2017

January 23, 2017 – Mass for Life at Trenton Cathedral at 9:30 a.m.; Rally for Life at Statehouse at 11 a.m. to follow. Bishop David O’Connell will be celebrating the mass at the Cathedral and then doing the Opening Prayer at the Rally on the Steps of the State House at 11 a.m.  We also have a line-up of great speakers so please join us!

The Trenton Rally for Life will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  We are most pleased and honored that Bishop David O’Connell has graciously agreed to lead us in the Opening Prayer at the Rally at 11 a.m.

Buses to Trenton Rally on 1/23:

From Middlesex County:  Bus will board at 9:30 a.m. at the Diocesan Center, Piscataway, NJ and return between 2-2:30 p.m.  Bus Ride is free of charge.To reserve a seat, email [email protected] or call 732 562 -1990, exts. 1543 or 1629.

From Morris County:

Bus leaving from Florham Park, NJ.  Contact: Frank or Barbara Tinari to sign up (973-822-0084).  $10 charge

From Ocean County

There will be a bus leaving from Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, NJ and St. Maximillian Kolbe in Toms River, NJ. Contact:  Al Del Tufo, 609 709 5592

Information on the Washington, D.C. March for Life, Friday, January 27, 2017

The Washington D.C. Rally and March for Life will take place on Friday, January 27, 2017. The Rally will take place at 12 Noon on the grounds of the Washington Monument, near the corner of 15th Street and Constitution Avenue.

If you would like to march with NJ pro-life citizens, we invite you to meet on the NW corner of NW 15th street and Constitution Avenue at 12:00pm. We will gather, then proceed to the March.

Following the Rally, the March will begin on Constitution Avenue between 15th and 17th Streets at approximately 1:00 pm.  For more information on the 1/27/17 March, visit www.marchforlife.org

There will be a Reception for NJ Pro-Life Citizens given by NJ Congressman Chris Smith immediately following the March in Room 2172 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Buses to D.C.

There will be two buses leaving from Cape May, NJ and Little Egg Harbor, NJ to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life on January 27, 2017.  See below for more information:

8:20 pm: return to Our Lady of the Angels Church parking lot.
